Education Coaching Sessions

six-session (1 hour each) Anger Education Coaching Program for Couples. Make no

anger is a natural part of our human expression. You WILL, however,
have new information and time-tested tools that will enable you to
learn to talk with each other more openly and peacefully; work
together to resolve long-standing conflicts; and understand the
causes of over-reactions of anger and ways to stop
them.

Anger is an important subject of concern for most couples.
Frustration, conflict, resentment, and arguing are all intimately
associated with a person's habits regarding their experience and
expression of anger. As Daniel Goleman, author of Emotional Intelligence, says:
"Simply having an agreement about how to argue is key to
marital survival."
Without education, many people tend to believe that arguing itself is
bad because it can lead to anger (which is believed to be bad).
Mike's offers solutions for these common types of problems in
a simple, straight-forward
manner.
Weekly private sessions provide
individualized instruction to help both partners complete the
workbook. Having gone through the workbook
together, each person will have learned tools and methods
for expressing their anger in healthy, empowering
ways. The investment of time necessary to complete the couples
program, will provide you with new tools and
knowledge. Plus, you will have created
together a personal
instruction manual for dealing with conflicts,
that you can refer to when
needed.
